Public charter schools from across Bridgeport will come together Saturday for a second annual charter school community clean up.

ADVISORY: Bridgeport Charter School Community Gathers to Clean Up Washington Park

Bridgeport, CT – Public charter schools from across Bridgeport will come together Saturday for a second annual charter school community clean up. This year, charter students, parents, educators, and supporters will pick up trash in the Washington Park neighborhood as a way to give back to the greater Bridgeport community.

Schools participating include: Achievement First Bridgeport Academy; Capital Preparatory Harbor School; Great Oaks Charter School; New Beginnings Family Academy; Park City Preparatory Academy; and The Bridge Academy.

WHO: Public charter school students, parents, educators, and supporters from every charter in Bridgeport.

WHAT: Pick up trash in Bridgeport’s Washington Park neighborhood, followed by a community lunch open to all volunteers.

WHEN: Saturday, October 10, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (community lunch to follow from noon until 4 p.m.)
