To gain a better understanding of local farmers and where food comes from, students from Great Oaks Charter School – Bridgeport will be spending Saturday morning at Reservoir Community Farm.

ADVISORY: Bridgeport Charter School Students to Volunteer at Local Community Farm

Bridgeport, CT – To gain a better understanding of local farmers and where food comes from, students from Great Oaks Charter School – Bridgeport will be spending Saturday morning at Reservoir Community Farm. The group will be seeding, watering, weeding, and doing any additional work the local farmers need help with. This volunteer event will provide great visuals and video opportunity.

About Great Oaks Charter School – Bridgeport: The purpose of the Great Oaks Charter School – Bridgeport (GO-BPT) is to prepare students to succeed in college. GO-BPT opened in 2014 and currently serves Grades 6 and 7. At scale it will serve Grades 6-12.
