Connecticut Policy Manager
Christopher Pacileo is the Northeast Charter Schools Network Connecticut Policy Manager. In his role, Christopher supports local and state advocacy campaigns in line with NECSN's policy goals at the capitol. He keeps a close eye on policy and legislative activity at the capitol in Hartford and throughout the state, and is a key figure in helping charters throughout the state understand policy as it pertains to their schools. Prior to joining NECSN, Christopher worked in various capacities in the New York State Legislature in Albany for the Minority Assembly Committee, including three years as a Budget Analyst for the Ways and Means Committee. He's well versed in a range of policy areas, including taxes, local governments, public protection and retirement. Through his work in Albany, Christopher was also exposed to education policy and is excited to narrow his focus on policy that impacts charter schools.
Christopher, who is originally from Middlebury, holds a Bachelor's in Philosophy from SUNY Albany.
