Connecticut Advocacy Coordinator
Michele Eiger serves as the Connecticut Advocacy Coordinator. In her role Michele works to build and support relationships with the state’s charter schools, families, and community partners, as well as support NECSN's state and local advocacy campaigns.
Michele has over eight years of community organizing, advocacy and collaborative experience in the education field. She has worked for Hartford Public Schools and education reform organizations in the past. Her two sons have both attended public charter schools, traditional district schools, and magnet schools. She holds a BS in Organizational Development from Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania, and will complete her Master’s in Educational Leadership in May of 2018.
Michele is the daughter of an immigrant and believes that all children have the right to an outstanding education in safe schools so they can find their passion in life.
