In early January, a State Supreme Court Judge dismissed the third Article 78 by the Mt Vernon City School District challenging Amani Public Charter School's right to exist.
The dismissal was the right decision. Amani has continually been under attack by Mt Vernon, not only through the repeated frivolous use of court proceedings, but also by refusing to comply with state law when it comes to charter school funding. The constant harassment must come to an end.
