Last week, WNYT, the NBC affiliate in Albany, began a series on the intercept process, which is used as a last resort by charters when funding is being withheld by the districts. NECSN's Kyle Rosenkrans, and Neal Currie, the executive director of Albany Community Charter and Henry Johnson Charter sat down to defend charter schools and the use of the intercept process.

Kyle explains that the districts have fought charters since Day 1 and this is just the latest tactic being used to starve them of their funds.
