This Tuesday (10/28), the Northeast Charter Schools Network is hosting a breakfast for New Haven state legislators, Board of Aldermen members, and Board of Education members.

ADVISORY: Legislators, Parents and Community Leaders to Meet for Breakfast at New Haven Charter School
 
New Haven, CT – This Tuesday (10/28), the Northeast Charter Schools Network is hosting a breakfast for New Haven state legislators, Board of Aldermen members, and Board of Education members.
 
The breakfast will be held at Common Ground High School, which serves students in grades 9-12. It will include parents and staff from New Haven’s charter schools, including Achievement First Amistad Academy, Booker T. Washington Academy, Elm City College Preparatory School, Elm City Montessori School, and Highville Charter School.
 
Guests will hear from Common Ground leader Melissa Spear, meet some of New Haven’s dedicated charter school parents and hardworking students, and ask any questions they may have about New Haven charter schools and Connecticut charter schools in general.
 
WHO: New Haven charter school staff, students, parents, and New Haven elected officials.
 
WHAT: Meet and greet and question and answer session regarding New Haven charter schools and Connecticut public charter schools in general.
