New Haven, CT – The Northeast Charter Schools Network today sent the following statement in response to the release of preliminary results of the 2017 Smarter Balanced assessment.
Northeast Charter Schools Network Connecticut Policy Manager Chris Harrington said, "Once again, public charter schools have proven that when given access to a high-quality education, all children - especially those in our state’s most underserved communities - can learn and succeed.
"This year’s preliminary results show that 83 percent of charter school students scored higher in English Language Arts than their district counterparts, while 78 percent of charter school students did the same in math. If ever we needed more proof that public charter schools are a key component in closing Connecticut’s achievement gap, this is it."
About the Northeast Charter Schools Network: The Northeast Charter Schools Network is the membership and advocacy organization for the more than 250 charter schools in New York and Connecticut. Its mission is to support and expand high quality charter schools.

We have to teach our culture, mannerism, about our society etc. Kids have to begin their education from basic level of our culture as well. For any assistance, you can reach https://www.essayschief.com to obtain more data on the importance of culture in our education.
